Effe Cucina is the closed-door restaurant of chef, interior designer, and globetrotter Florencia Previtera. This joyful and talented Mendocina studied in a top Chilean Gastronomy School and traveled Europe for ten years from kitchen to kitchen before she decides to go back to her roots and set up her own project in the Andes’ Capital.
During the week-ends, she turns her kitchen into a laboratory of flavors and her stylish living room into an intimist dining room where she attends her hosts with both discretion and warmth. Her refined cuisine has a lovely home-made touch to it and she uses high-quality seasonal products in quantities that won’t let you starve!
She will create for you a 5-steps weekly menu. Ours included a simple and delicious brusquetta of dried tomato, black olives, ricotta and herbs; a mini Quiche of bacon and its bittersweet salsa, pappardelle pasta with gambas and cooked tomato cherry, the classic and superbly realized filet mignon with Malbec and green peas cream and a succulent chocolate sponge cake with its cranberry’ s salsa and lemon cream. Good and reasonably priced wine list.
Effe opens from Friday to Sunday, with previous booking (12-24h) and is located few blocks away from the micro center.
